Emergency crews investigate reports of man jumping into Snake River

UPDATE: There has been no follow-up reports from law enforcement of any missing persons or evidence of someone in the river.

Emergency crews in Idaho Falls are investigating the waters of Snake River after receiving reports of a man jumping off the Pancheri Bridge.

Idaho Falls Fire Department says a witness was traveling east by the Pancheri Bridge and say a male in a grey sweatshirt jump off the south side of the bridge around 4:15 p.m.

Boats were in the water for several hours Saturday afternoon and evening.
