Lt. Governor visits Blackfoot classroom

Idaho Lieutenant Governor Brad Little took some time out to meet the request of a Blackfoot Charter Community Learning Center Middle School student Friday.

Zayra Munoz is a student in Craig Gerard’s Social Studies class. She learned that Little would be in Bingham County and asked him to come to her school and discuss topics important to middle school students.

Little answered the request and showed up for class Friday morning.

The main topics of concern to her 8th-grade class included secondary education opportunities, trade jobs, and other jobs that require college degrees.

Gerard said he saw it as an opportunity for his students “to both address their futures and see what American government looks like in real life.”
