Air conditioner sales on the rise

The heat advisory shows temperatures on the rise, and so are air conditioner sales. Employees say air conditioners and fans are flying off of the shelves at Rocknak’s Hardware.

With July and August being our hottest months, it’s normal for this time of year.

“This time of year we always see an increase in the number of air conditioners sold as it gets hot. We’ll have air conditioners in the morning and by the afternoon they’re gone,” says Brian Rocknak, store manager.

Rocknak says they also see an increase in hoses and sprinkler sales.
