Cutting edge trauma therapy comes to Pocatello

A new psychotherapy proven to treat PTSD is made its way to Pocatello this weekend. ART International’s, Jennifer Street trained three local therapists in Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidenced-based psychotherapy that is a proven method in treating individuals who suffer from PTSD. Accelerated Resolution Therapy, known at (ART) is growing in popularity nationwide. Specifically, this type of therapy aims to resolve a traumatic memory through a combination of relaxation and memory visualization.

ART is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the reach of this therapy by teaching clinicians from across the United States and overseas. The Pocatello training session was one of over 100 training sessions ART International has hosted in 2018. Not only did licensed clinicians receive a new therapy technique to aid PTSD, but they also earned 21.5 CEU’s for their attendance.
