The wind will be the big issue today as we’ll see sustained winds near 20 mph across the region. With the winds and low RH values, fire weather concerns are very high. The thunderstorm threat is primarily to the east into Western Wyoming and Montana today. Cooler and calmer weather is expected for the weekend.
Friday: Mostly sunny, windy, with highs into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s. A few thunderstorms into the mountains around Island Park, Jackson and the National Parks.
Tonight: Mostly clear with smoke and lows in the low 50’s.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, breezy, with highs into the mid to upper 80’s.
Sunday: Sunny with smoke and highs into the mid 80’s.
