Idaho Rockfestcanceled

EKR Entertainment and Productions, Inc. said due to unforeseen circumstances, Idaho Rockfest is canceled.

All tickets will be refunded to ticket buyers.

Ron Heyrend said the cancelation of Idaho Rockfest is in no way a reflection of the stellar artists and bands booked for this festival.

“We are very disappointed about these circumstances,” said Heyrend.

Organizers say in the past 24 hours they ran into a problem.

The bands need to be paid before they perform, and they say investors pulled out at the last minute.

“Part of the team was in the air coming here, and the investment had decided they basically don’t want to front any more money. So, trying to explain to them that it’s a small amount of money compared to what they would pull out of the back end.”

If you bought tickets in the Chukars’ office with a credit or debit card, go to the office with your card, the ticket and a receipt or bank statement.
