Semi-trailer carrying frozen food catches fire
A single semi-trailer was engulfed in flames on US 20 near milepost 385 in a construction zone around 12:52 p.m. Tuesday.
Fremont County deputies and Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) personnel fought the fire with an ITD water truck until the Island Park Fire Department arrived.
The fire was extinguished, and a third of the semi-trailer was lost.
The semi-trailer was carrying frozen food.
The sheriff’s office says the cause of the fire has not been determined.
No other vehicles were involved, and no one was injured.
