Blackfoot water study approved

Blackfoot has been awarded a $25,000 drinking water planning grant.

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality said the funding will help the city prepare a drinking water planning study. The project will look at the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.

The entire project is expected to cost $50,000. The balance will be funded by the city of Blackfoot.
