BYU-Idaho Dean passes away

Brigham Young University-Idaho announced Thursday Dean of Students Kip B. Harris died Wednesday night.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, at the Sugar City Stake Center located at 315 East 300 South. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 North 1st East, in Rexburg, and Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the stake center prior to the funeral services. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.

In a statement, the university said, “The BYU-Idaho administration expresses the love, support, and appreciation of the entire campus community. The University Relations office is compiling a book of remembrance for the Harris family. Employees and students are invited to submit personal remembrances and photographs.”
