Preston High School principal resigns; takes job out of state

Preston High School is getting a new principal.

Current principal Curtis Jensen submitted his resignation this week.

He will be taking another school administrator position in Utah.

Jensen said he is making the move to support his wife, who took a full-time job in the Salt Lake area.

Jensen has been with the Preston School District since 2013.

Preston High School’s vice principal, Russ Lee, will be interim principal until a full-time replacement is found.

He will take over the job immediately.
