2 arrested after crystal meth found in car

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspects as Jeneva Costilla, 29, and Lyn Americanhorse, 24. Costilla is being held in the Madison County Jail in Rexburg.

Two people were arrested Sunday night after a routine traffic stop on US Highway 20 in Fremont County after officers found four pounds of crystal methamphetamine in their car.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy pulled over a car at around 7 p.m. near milepost 387 in Island Park. The deputy became suspicious that the driver had provided a false name.
The male driver admitted to having a suspended driver’s license and lying about his name. Officers did not release the identity of the man, who was wanted on a Montana felony warrant.
Crystal meth was found in the trunk of the vehicle, along with various drug paraphernalia.
A woman with the suspect was also arrested.
Both were charged with trafficking and possession of methamphetamine.
The man was also charged with providing false information to an officer and driving on a suspended license. The woman passenger was also charged with resisting and obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
