Shoshone-Bannock Casino expansion grand opening
Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel has announced plans for an opening ceremony and official ribbon cutting February 13.
The Tribes broke ground on the 85,463 square foot casino addition in 2017. Called tthe Casino Expansion Phase Two, the additional was built on the west side of the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Events Center.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will include remarks from Tribal leaders, Casino Executive Staff and project managers. There will also be traditional dancing and an Honor Song from a drum group.
The opening ceremony will be followed by a public celebration on Saturday, February 23. It will include promotions, activities, entertainment, and giveaways.
The expansion includes a new gaming floor, an addition to the Event Center,bingo hall, buffet, and lounge as well as over 300 new parking spaces.
The Tribes own and operate three gaming properties including the Casino Hotel, Sage Hill Casino and Travel Center, and the Bannock Peak Casino and Truck Stop.
