Snow King offers free tickets to federal employees

Furloughed government employees are facing challenging times, but until they get back to work, every day is a “powder day” at Snow King Mountain Resort.

Snow King announced it would offer free lift tickets to federal workers, Monday through Friday, until the government shutdown ends.

“In appreciation for the great work they do for our community, state, and nation,” the resort said federal workers could present their federal ID at a ticket window to take advantage of this offer.

“In Teton County, we know many of our friends, neighbors and families are affected by this government shutdown,” says Snow King General Manager Ryan Stanley. “Snow King would like to thank our federal workers for their service and show our gratitude by offering free turns on Snow King, come out and play.”
