Passport Sunday in Jackson

The Clerk of District Court in Teton County, Wyoming will open this Sunday for the 3rd Annual Sunday Passport Application Day.

In cooperation with the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, the Clerk’s office will be open from noon until 4 p.m. for application processing.

The date was selected to provide ample time for application processing prior to Spring Break, near the end of March. Processing usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. Expedited processing is available for an additional $60 per application. It usually reduces processing time by 2 to 3 weeks.

The Clerk’s office encourages people to complete applications ahead of time. The forms can be found here.

And, more information is available here or by calling 307-733-2533.

Applicants should also bring required application materials, including checks, money orders, and original birth certificates.

The clerk’s office has been notified by the Department of State that the current federal government shutdown should not affect passport application times.
