Local home care business is top in the nation
A local home care business is being honored as one of the best in the nation.
Visiting Angels of Eastern Idaho announced it is ranked in the top 130 home care agencies in the U.S. Home Care Pulse, a leading industry research firm, presented Visiting Angels of Eastern Idaho with the coveted Leader in Excellence award.
The awards were given based on client and caregiver satisfaction scores put together by Home Care Plus.
“We knew (the award) existed and we were hoping someday that we could get it, but we thought with only four years that we’ve been in operations, it might be a few more years until we got there,” said Scott Holmes, owner and CEO of Visiting Angels of Eastern Idaho.
The company was also named the provider of choice and employer of choice in Eastern Idaho for the fourth year in a row.
“Visiting Angels is much different than anywhere else in the region in what they do or what they try to do and it’s very cool, very good for our seniors,” said Katie Gasser, the community relations director for Visiting Angels of Eastern Idaho.
