ORIGINAL STORY:

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has spent the last two days evaluating evidence and contacting people who may have information in the death of 31-year-old Wilden Lovin.

Deputies were called to a home on Saturday night after someone discovered the body of Lovin.

Deputies were not sure if it was a death because of natural causes or suicide but later ruled it a homicide.

“There is a lot of folks working on this. We’re not going to stop until we get to where we hope we can with an arrest and get it solved,” said Sheriff David Fryar. “But we are sure it is a homicide.”

Wilden worked at the Trails West Trailer Manufacturing plant in Preston.

His friends describe him as a quiet kind man.

“He was a real-mellow kid. Calm, Quiet about as friendly a person as you could ever come around,” said Taydn Flippence, a friend of Lovin’s “And yeah, it kind of surprised everybody that it happened, but I don’t know.”

Authorities are not releasing the cause of death until after an autopsy is completed.

They say they have a wealth of forensic evidence and have people of interest.

No suspects have been arrested.

Sheriff Fryar says he does not think the community is in any continued danger.

“I personally, I mean, I don’t want to say people shouldn’t be cautious, they should always be cautious. But I don’t think there is a great alarm that we have got a killer running around that’s going to come and you know,” said Fryar “I think we should be cautious, but I don’t think anyone needs to be overly alarmed.”

Sheriff Fryar wants to remind everyone to always lock their doors.
