Idaho Falls celebrates Cinco de Mayo 2019 at Tautphaus Park

Community members are gathering at Tautphaus Park to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Vendors from Idaho falls came together to helped organize and celebrate the holiday. Locals who attended were able to try new foods and experience a little bit of Mexican culture right in there back yard. Sergio Romero is from Mexico and is the one who helped bring a bit of his heritage to Idaho Falls. Sergio Romero Chairmen of the Idaho Falls Cinco De Mayo celebration said, “I am so grateful to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Idaho Falls with the Anglo and Hispanic community. I am so grateful for all of the support of the local businesses in Idaho Falls. We receive a lot of support this year from the community to have a beautiful Cinco de Mayo.” If you would like to learn more about the Mexican culture you can find Sergio and his family every Saturday at the farmers market and they would love to give you a taste of their Mexican heritage.
