Ross Park draft plan goes to the public Tuesday

Pocatello officials are looking for community ideas on the future of Ross Park.

A public meeting is set from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14 at the Pocatello City Council Chambers, 911 N. 7th Ave.

People will have a chance of review the Ross Park Draft Master Plan, originally released in January, and review display boards featuring parts of the plan.

“Thank you to everyone who attended our last town hall for the draft plan and let us know their thoughts,” said John Banks, Parks and Recreation Director. “The Ross Park area is a jewel of Pocatello’s park system and we look forward to hearing other ways that the park, including the Ross Park Aquatic Complex and Zoo Idaho, can be improved.”

You can preview the draft plan here.

The city will accept public comments through June 2.
