Section of S. Holmes to close for road work
HK Contractor crews will begin road work associated with the Belmont Estates subdivision Friday. That work will require a full closure of South Holmes Avenue from E. 49th South to E. 65th South beginning May 10.
The work is expected to continue through July 1. All local residents and businesses should have access during the construction, but travelers should expect heavy equipment, road workers, traffic signs, lower speed limits and flaggers.
Idaho Falls has developed a new interactive road construction map. You can see it here. The city says that the website will keep track of road projects in the city throughout the summer.
