Idaho Falls Fire Department respond to a brush fire near Action Motor Sports

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) (UPDATE 5:28 p.m.) – Calls came in about the fire at around 4:26 p.m. prompting the use of a fire engine, and a brush truck.

Crews quickly contained the fire and left the scene at around 5:10 p.m.

There was some damage to snowmobile trailers along the fence as seen above.

Idaho Falls Fire Department reminds everyone to be cautious with setting fires during these conditions.

Moreover, the National Weather Service has issued red flag warnings for the area currently.

(4:55 p.m.) – Idaho Falls Fire Department responded to a brush fire near Action Motor Sports at 1355 East Lincoln Road on Sunday, September 1.

The cause is unclear but we will update you as we learn more.
