TALLINN, Estonia (AP) — Estonia is preparing to hold a general election that will determine whether it can sustain its high level of support for Ukraine. The small Baltic nation has provided Ukraine with more weapons than any other country relative to the size of its economy. Prime Minister Kaja Kallas is seeking a second term in Sunday’s election. She belongs to a generation of young female leaders who have emerged as strong voices for Ukraine. Kallas’ main challenger is Martin Helme, head of the nationalist EKRE party. Estonia borders Russia to the east and broke away from the Soviet Union in 1991. Since then, the country has become a member of both NATO and the European Union.
