Students temporarily held in schools due to police activity

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 reports due to police activity in the neighborhood involving the pursuit of a suspect on foot, students at Lewis & Clark and Tendoy Elementary Schools were temporarily held inside of the schools.

This was done as an extra precaution until police were assured it was safe to release at the regular dismissal time.

The district asks you do not call the school as this matter has been resolved.
