Idaho’s longest-serving death row inmate has new execution date

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) - Idaho's longest-serving death row inmate has a new execution date.

New court documents show Thomas Creech will be executed Feb. 28.

Creech was sentenced to death in January 1983 for beating to death fellow inmate, David Jensen, of Pocatello.

In 1981, the now 73-year-old was convicted of five murders.

Creech is also thought to be tied to the murders of several other people across the U.S.
