Fremont Deputies investigate human remains found in desert

ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (KIFI) - Fremont County Sheriff's Office said human remains were located northwest of St. Anthony on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, in a remote area of the desert.

The Sheriff's office said an autopsy is scheduled to take place this week.

The County Coroner's office is waiting to release the person's identification.

No other details were released.
