Over 50 injured in fire at Alzheimer home in Czech Republic

PRAGUE (AP) — A fire at a nursing home in the Czech Republic that takes care of people suffering from Alzheimer disease has injured more than 50. The regional rescue service says ladders were used to evacuated 56 patients Wednesday evening from the home in Roztoky, a town just north of Prague. The rescuers say a total of 54 have been injured, with two in critical condition. Almost 100 firefighters have been battling the blaze. The head of the regional government says no deaths have been reported.
