IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here's what you should know to start your Friday.
1. A bill that would bar adults from obtaining abortion pills for a minor or aiding them without parental consent is heading to Governor Brad Little's desk. If passed, anyone convicted of breaking the law would face two to five years in prison, and could also be sued by the minor's parent or guardian.
2. Idaho Fish and Game Officers captured a mountain lion in an Ammon neighborhood yesterday morning. Woodland Hills Elementary School was put on alert while the mountain lion was still in the area.
3. Undergraduates and graduates from all around the Mountain West presented their energy solution research at Idaho National Lab's campus in Idaho Falls. They will be presenting their research posters to the public at the Center for Advanced Energy Studies on the INL campus tonight from 5 to 7pm.
