Wilson Boat Ramp to close Sept. 18

Google Earth

JACKSON, Wyo. (KIFI) – The Wilson Boat Ramp will close to all public access beginning Monday, Sept. 18 through the middle or end of October to allow crews to complete construction on the Wilson Upland Development Project.

Due to the wet construction season and to ensure a finished product by Spring 2024, it is necessary to close the boat ramp to public access for launching and/or unloading.

To complete grading, asphalt work and ramp plank installation by the end of the construction season, the closure will be in effect until construction is finished, which is anticipated to be by the middle or end of October.

TCJPR staff understand the inconvenience of the closure and will work to provide late season access if there is an opportunity to do so following the completion of construction, weather dependent.

As a reminder, the winter wildlife closure begins on Dec. 1.
