Sugar-Salem Boys Basketball hands Snake River its first loss of the season

SUGAR CITY, Idaho (KIFI) - The Sugar-Salem Diggers took down the Snake River Panthers Tuesday night in a defensive battle 38-33.

It was a tight game and it started out that way, with the two teams trading basket for basket in the first quarter.

But Sugar-Salem pulled away for the five-point victory.

Next up, Sugar-Salem hosts Star Valley (Wyoming) Friday night while Snake River travels to Kimberly. Both games tip off at 7:30 p.m.
