Gate City Grays improve to 14-4 overall with a 7-4 win over the Logan Royals

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - Once the storm clouds cleared in Pocatello, the Gate City Grays took the field at Halliwell Park and stayed hot, taking down the Logan Royals 7-4 Thursday night.

To start the game, Trei Hough magnificently worked out of a jam. With runners on the second and third, he forced a lineout and struck out another Royal looking to keep the game scoreless.

Slayder Watterson would start up the offense in the bottom of the first, knocking a hanging a breaking ball into the trees in left field for a solo home run, helping the Grays score the victory.

Next up, the Grays host the Brigham City Peaches in a doubleheader Saturday night beginning at 6:00 p.m.
