Pocatello and Snake River lead in first boys basketball media polls of the season

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Pocatello Thunder and Snake River Panthers highlight East Idaho representation in the first boys basketball media polls of the season released Tuesday.

Pocatello has the advantage in a 4A poll filled with local teams at the top. Hillcrest slotted into second and Preston is in third place.

As for Snake River, the Panthers lead 3A at 10-2 so far this season while Teton makes the poll in fifth.

Also of note, Madison is in second place in 5A while North Fremont (2A), Butte County (1AD1), Rockland (1AD2), and Watersprings (1AD2) all received statewide recognition this week.
