Three local squads continue to lead in latest girls basketball media polls

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Shelley, Teton, and Malad continue to pace their respective classes in the latest statewide girls basketball media polls, which were released Thursday.

The Russets (4A) and Timberwolves (3A) have stayed perfect in the past week, with Shelley at 14-0 and Teton at 17-0.

In 2A, Malad keeps the advantage, but Grangeville has tied the Dragons at the top with 49 points in the latest poll.

Also of note, Rigby (5A), Pocatello (4A), Snake River (3A), and South Fremont (3A) are among the seven other teams that received statewide recognition this week.
