- WHAT…Periods of moderate to heavy snow. Snowfall accumulations
of 10 to 18 inches have occurred in the Star Valley; 4 to 6
inches near Jackson, with locally higher amounts of 15 to 18
inches near Wilson and Teton Village; 4 to 8 inches near
Pinedale, with locally higher amounts over 12 inches near
Bondurant. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, with
lesser amounts toward Pinedale. Winds gusting as high as 25 mph
in the Jackson Valley will produce blowing and drifting snow. - WHERE…Star Valley, Upper Green River Basin Foothills and
Jackson Hole. - WHEN…Until 11 PM MST this evening.
- IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult. Blowing snow is
likely to significantly reduce visibility down to a quarter of
mile at times.
