Winter Weather Advisory

Snow has begun to show up with freezing fog with inversion this morning into areas east of Blackfoot into the desert and the northwest system will plow into the central mountains at lunch and we'll have snow showers into afternoon drive time, deepening into the night. Winter Weather Advisory is issued for eastern highlands this afternoon through tomorrow morning at 5am. Accumulations of 8" or more possible into mountain ridges. 1-4" expected into the valley, mixed precipitation will stake its claim along 84 and the lower valley/Magic Valley. Highs in the mid 20's to 30.
