Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Eastern Idaho and Utah, Until 9PM

An upper low pressure system, over northern California, will move into eastern Oregon tonight before arriving in western Montana on Thursday.

Wednesday Night:

Showers and thunderstorms before 1am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 1am and 3am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Some storms could be severe, with large hail and damaging winds. Low around 50°. Gusty winds at 15-25 mph.

Thursday:

A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 11am and noon. Mostly sunny, with a high in the lower to mid 60’s. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

Thursday Night

A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers between 9pm and midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 42. South southwest wind 9 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday

Sunny, with a high near 66. South southwest wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
