Major changes coming

Highs today in the mid 80's with areas of smoke and light winds. However, more unsettled weather by tomorrow afternoon with some storms and then high mountain snows begin to show up above 9000 ft.

Cold air invades after this system and a major temperature drop to the 50's by Thursday. Chances of storms at 50% with high elevation snow of 9000' or more into late Wednesday and into Thursday.

Chilly rains will make Thursday feel like a seasonal shift with lows in the mountains at freezing and 40's for the valley. This system may help with fires and smoke coverage to a degree, but winds still gust with an cells of storms.
