Major changes coming

Highs today in the mid 80's with areas of smoke and winds picking up to 20mph gusts. However, more unsettled weather starting to slide in overnight with a 30% chance of showers ahead of school and work and then by tomorrow afternoon/evening- storms with gusty winds and you can't rule out high mountain snow to showing up above 9000 ft.

Slightly cooler tomorrow and in the low 80's with winds picking up especially later around the front.

Cold air invades after this system and a major temperature drop to the 50's by Thursday. Chances of storms at 50% with high elevation snow of 9000' or more into late Wednesday and into Thursday.

Chilly rains will make Thursday feel like a seasonal shift with winds/rain and temps in the 50's and 60's. Lows in the mountains at freezing and 40's for the valley. This system may help with fires and smoke coverage to a degree, but winds still gust with an cells of storms.
