First Alert Weather Day #2 – More accumulating snow into the afternoon

Snow into the afternoon.  Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. SW winds 15-25= gusts. 60% chance for the Snake River Plain. Accumulations will continue into the day and there is the chance the low pressure system will lag behind schedule and create more snow piles for the Snake River Plain today. We are tracking this snow event hour-by-hour and want you to travel safely and allow extra time when hitting the roads. Visibility may be an issue with fog along interstates in Pocatello as well. The wind is not as fast as it was when the first system came through however, blowing snow can be distracting. Download our First Alert Weather app so we can alert you to hazardous conditions outside the home and work and turn on notifications to remain informed. Also, use the app to watch our live streaming live broadcasts. We have a 40% chance of snow tonight into primetime. It will be mostly cloudy and a low of 18 degrees tonight.

Chances slack off tomorrow and it will be colder around 30.
