Tracking snow for the day and winds picking up
40% chance of snow showers today easing into the Snake River Plain late morning/midday and triggering some slick mix into the afternoon. It will be cloudy with high in the mid 30's. Upper 20's for the mountains. Winds gust to 20+ from the SSW 5-10mph.
Clouds and patchy freezing fog possible into tonight and tomorrow morning with some leftover lingering showers with lows down to the 20's when you wake up with 8. Tomorrow a slight chance of showers remains aloft, especially for the southeastern corridor east of the flying Y and around Soda with accumulations above and inch possible. Slightly warmer and temps increasing into the weekend, with intermittent clouds. Temps will go to about 10 degrees above average by the weekend.
