Wyoming unemployment declines

Wyoming’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell one tenth of a percent to 4.8 percent from March to April.

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services said almost all county unemployment rates followed normal seasonal patterns and decreased slightly.

The exception was Teton County, where unemployment rose from 5.8 percent in March to 8.9 percent in April. Teton County normally experiences an April increase because the ski season has ended and the summer tourist season has yet to begin.

Lincoln County unemployment dropped from 7.9 percent in March to 6.8 percent in April.
