Moose triggers accident in Island Park area
Four people were hurt after a car struck a moose on U.S. Highway 20 in northern Fremont County on Wednesday.
The Nissan Rogue was southbound in the Island Park area when it struck the animal and veered off the roadway, striking several trees, the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office said.
The occupants of the car were all transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, one by helicopter. Their condition is unknown at this time.
