Bridge work to slow traffic south of Jackson
Wadsworth Brothers Construction Company crews will be setting girders Wednesday night and Thursday on the Jackson South construction site south of Jackson.
Two cranes will be used because of the size and weight of the girders. One will sit on the bridge deck, forcing closure of one of the traveling lanes, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
Crews are expected to begin controlling traffic on a single lane at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The work is expected to last several hours tonight and tomorrow evening. Some traffic delays are possible.
WYDOT is advising travelers to use caution and plan extra time to reach your destination.
