3 things to know this morning – June 28, 2023
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here's what you should know to start your Wednesday.
1. The Idaho Republican State Central Committee voted last Saturday to use a caucus to select next year's presidential nominee. A caucus is different from a primary election. Registered Republicans will have to show up at a specific date, time, and location for a caucus, instead of going to a voting booth to cast a ballot. This option will go forward unless the legislature re-instates the March Primary.
2. Northwest Point of Loon Bay to Headquarters Bay at the Mud Lake Wildlife Management area is closed until July 15th. The reason for the closure is because water fowl are coming to the wetlands to nest and hatch their young. The rest of the lake is open.
3. Celebrate Blackfoot is taking place this Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at Jensen Grove Park. This year will include a car show, all of the fair food that you can eat, and the return of the infamous snowmobile races on the lake.
