Runnin’ Rebels win streak is snapped as they split a doubleheader with Twin Falls

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Pocatello Runnin' Rebels' win streak ended at seven games Monday night, but the Rebels immediately bounced back with a dominating win in game two of their doubleheader against the Twin Falls Cowboys.

Game one was a pitcher's duel, and it wasn't until the sixth inning that a run scored for either team. The Cowboys picked up a pair on an error and a bases-loaded walk, and those runs would be the difference in a 2-0 win.

Game two belonged to the Rebels from the get-go. Pocatello scored six runs in the first inning on their way to a mercy-rule 11-1 victory in five innings.

Next up, the Runnin' Rebels begin a tournament in Jackson Hole Thursday.
