Bandits pull off 2nd walkoff win in three games to advance to Regional Semifinals

GILLETTE, Wyoming (KIFI) - The boys of summer continued their playoff run Friday night with a 4-3 walkoff win over the Billings Royals, as the Idaho Falls Bandits improved to 3-0 in the American Legion Northwest Regional Tournament.

The Bandits took a 3-1 lead into the 7th inning, but down to their final strike, the Royals tied the game on a two-run double.

However, Idaho Falls got runners on base in the bottom of the 7th, and a throwing error brought home Chandler Robinson for the winning run.

Next up, the Bandits take on Medford, OR in the semifinals, and thanks to their perfect record in Regionals, Idaho Falls is guaranteed to play on the final day of the tournament on Sunday.
