Skyline opens conference play with a 43-24 victory over Hillcrest

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Skyline Grizzlies are off and running in 4A High Country play thanks to a 43-24 win over the Hillcrest Knights Friday night.

It was an opening drive touchdown that got it started for Skyline. After a big 3rd down catch, Caden Taggart found pay dirt on a 5-yard rush for a 7-0 lead.

After an interception by each team, the Grizz settled in for a dominating 19-point win.

Next up, Skyline battles Idaho Falls in the Emotion Bowl next Saturday at 4:00 p.m. while Hillcrest hosts Pocatello next Friday at 7:00 p.m.
