Sunny, Breezy, and Dry

Several sunny and dry days headed our way with highs headed to 60 by mid-week. Winds NNE 10-15 gusting to 20mph today with highs in the upper 40's to near 50 in Idaho Falls. Mid 40's for Jackson. Low 50's for Pocatello and Salmon. Upper 20's tonight and mid 50's tomorrow.

Lake Wind Advisory for American Falls Reservoir until 3pm. Small craft use caution.

Including the cities of Pocatello, Blackfoot, American Falls,
Shelley, and Fort Hall

...LAKE WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO
3 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 12 to 17 mph expected.

* WHERE...American Falls Reservoir.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 3 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Northeast winds can create hazardous conditions for
  small water craft, especially across the southwest half of the
  Reservoir. Wave heights could potentially swamp boats
  attempting to launch from the West Side Ramp.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.
