Winter storm moves in today

Snow returns into the day and 2-4"+ possible for the valley and 10+' for the passes. High 34 today and 29 tonight and slick conditions will take over again for the late afternoon and overnight tonight and 50 % chance of snow Thursday morning.

Winter weather advisory for eastern highlands and all of Bonneville County beginning this afternoon at 3pm through 9am Thursday. 3-6" up to a foot on mountain passes will accumulate and blow around with winds picking up tomorrow 20-30 after the front. Visibility is of concern with low clouds and fog for the central valley into midday. Icy patches on roads, sidewalks and walkways, handrails, and steps and your windshield may make for hazardous travel, wherever you are. Be cautious and download the KIFI weather app to track the storm with us.

Winter weather advisory includes: Beaverhead - Lemhi Highlands, Big Hole Mountains,  Centennial Mountains - Island Park, Teton Valley, Blackfoot  Mountains, Caribou Range, and Upper Snake River Plain.
