August heat ahead of windy Wednesday

Continued hot today with high pressure as the mechanism for dry weather. Highs today in the 90s. 82 in Jackson and upper 80s for the highlands. We are tracking a cold front for Wednesday afternoon and this will cool us down, but also unsettled things with slight chances 30% of roving thunderstorms. Highs drop to the upper 80s and flirt with 90 through the period. Winds will be sus into Wednesday and Thursday, so tie everything down in the yard and watch the herby-curby garbage cans. SW 20-40mph for the wake of the front with a chance of storms continuing, especially southeast highlands the divide to the north.
