REXBURG, Idaho (KIFI) – Do you know which Asian island is shared by three countries? The winner of the state geography bee did. Young students from all over Idaho were at Brigham Young University – Idaho for the National Geographic State Bee.

The 26th annual state Geography bee at BYU-Idaho Friday. Students from all over the state came to participate. After preliminary rounds, the final competition was among ten elementary and middle school students.

The National Geography Bee is held every year in Washington D.C. This year marks the competition’s 25 anniversary.
