Search continues for missing former Bannock County judge

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) — The Bannock County Sheriff's Office continues to look for former Judge William Woodland, 84.

The sheriff's office issued an Endangered Missing Person Alert for Woodland on Sunday after attending his church services around 12:30 p.m. He was last seen at the intersection of Lone Pine Road and Gay Mine Road.

The man is believed to be in danger, according to the alert. He was last seen wearing a blue suit jacket, tan slacks, and cowboy boots. According to a post on the Facebook group Life in Pocatello, the man may be driving a dark red Lexus ES350 sedan, license # 1B G8404.

Woodland served as a magistrate and district judge for over 20 years. A family spokesman told Local News 8 he suffers from memory loss.

Search and Rescue crews have been using helicopters and have been searching the are area where he was last seen.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, law enforcement is directing you to contact the Bannock County Sheriff at 208-236-7111 immediately.
