Woman found dead along Highway 33 in Madison County

REXBURG, Idaho (KIFI) - A woman was found dead west of Rexburg along State Highway 33 in Madison County.

Sheriff's deputies, Idaho State Police, and Madison Fire and EMS teams responded to a report of an unresponsive woman lying next to the road on Tuesday.

They identified the woman as 70-year-old Treva Ward.

An autopsy was scheduled to determine how she died.
